    Considerations

    Normal or Combination Skin: Start using a Derm-A-Gel® every other night for the first week to ten days, then gradually increase to twice daily. 

    Sensitive Skin, Arid or Dry Winter Climate Conditions: Begin with one application of Derm-A-Gel® every third night through the second week. Increase to every other night for a further week, and nightly thereafter. Eventually, you may be able to use the program up to twice daily. 

    Oily Skin or Hot Tropical Climate Conditions: Because your natural oil flow creates a film that slows the effects of the Vitamin A, the program can be stepped up more quickly. You may be able to start right off with using the Vitamin A Propionate skin conditioning lotion once a day. As skin acclimates, begin applying Derm-A-Gel® twice a day.

  • Key Ingredients

    • Retinyl Propionate (Vitamin A): Developed by Dr. James E. Fulton, the most effective non-prescription retinoid available. Helps diminish the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, while protecting from further photo-aging and free radical damage.

    • Kojic Acid: Brightens and protects against sun damage.

    • Lactic Acid: Alpha Hydroxy Acid (AHA) derived from fermented milk. Gentler than other AHAs. Exfoliates dead skin, encourages cell renewal, aids in regulating pH, and acts as a moisture binder.

    • Glycine: A naturally occurring amino acid and a basic building block of proteins.

    • Urea: Promotes hydration in the skin.

    • Niacinamide: A water-soluble form of Vitamin B with a firming effect and anti-inflammatory properties.
